Galerie Gilla Loercher | Contemporary Art was founded by philosopher and journalist Gilla Loercher in January 2009. The gallery represents emerging and established international artists. The gallery program focuses on conceptual, research-based and/or space-based approaches in a variety of media including installation, sculpture, painting, drawing, video and photography.
Artists represented and shown have participated in Documenta Kassel, the Saint-Paul-de-Vence Biennale, the Lyon Biennale, the Busan Biennale, the Jakoutsk Biennale and the Venice Biennale.
In spring 2024, the gallery moved from Pohlstraße in Tiergarten to Grolmannstraße 28 in Charlottenburg.
