Uraufführung: Wassily Kandinsky - Akademie der Künstle

The director and choreographer Arila Siegert, together with the artists’ group Violett, undertakes for the first time the scenic realisation of Wassily Kandinsky’s stage composition Über die Mauer (Over the Wall) from 1913/14.

The production was created as part of the academy’s focal point „Arbeit am Gedächtnis – Transforming Archives“ as a co-production of the Akademie der Künste with the Anhaltisches Theater Dessau and the Bauhaus Dessau Foundation. The performances will take place from 1 to 3 October 2021 at the Academy of Arts (Akademie der Künste) on Pariser Platz.
