until 15.03. | #2714ARTatBerlin | Robert Morat Galerie presents from 11th March 2020 the exhibition “Who are you?” by photographer Florian Jaenicke, which will be shown for only a few days. During this period the book premiere will take place on 13th March.
“We often stare at Frederick for a long time because we cannot believe that his big eyes cannot see us.
Because where the images are formed in the brain, there’s constant thunder and lightning.”
In his photo column in the ZEITmagazin, Florian Jaenicke has been giving millions of ZEIT readers an insight into life with his son Friedrich, who is severely disabled, every week since the beginning of 2019. In the book accompanying the column, Jaenicke describes with sensitivity, respect and love how life feels with a child who cannot speak or maintain eye contact. A reading that shifts perspectives – and teaches what happiness means. For Friedrich: The Beatles and roast pork. For his parents: love for Friedrich.
