until 27.07. | #2459ARTatBerlin | Klosterfelde Edition currently presents the exhibition Prototypes and Multiples by the artist Jorinde Voigt.
In her exhibition at Klosterfelde Edition, Jorinde Voigt, who has mainly drawn in large format up to now, experiments with spatial explorations of her investigations of perception and epistemological questions, which have so far mostly been written in two dimensions.
On display are prototypes and multiples that do not present themselves as hermetically sealed works of art distanced from the viewer, but play with questions of functionality and integrability in everyday life in their potential usefulness, yet which superficially represent artistic confrontations with themes such as the spectrum of action, proportion and stability. As such, they mark a transfer of Voigt’s drawing practice into a spatially open formal language, which opens up new possibilities for the development and experience of the concepts behind it.
