until 31.10. | #3226ARTatBerlin | Galerie Z22 shows on 30th and 31st October 2021 for two days only the duo art project pXXy PORN DELUXE with photos and paintings by the artists Roman Gilz & Gordan Nikolic (GOTTGORDAN).
pXXy PORN, the unusual art project by the two artists Roman Gilz and Gordan Nikolic, stands for freedom in eroticism and art. Two artists who have a lot in common and who love to work on the grace of women and the depiction of sexually dominant femininity in an unusually provocative way. They understand woman as a seductive goddess who sometimes crosses boundaries.
How? Photos by the nude photographer Gilz are alienated by the painter Nikolic and reshaped in his very own way using mixed media techniques, sometimes downright “destroyed”. After being reworked by Gilz, the image is then printed on 5mm acrylic glass in a strictly limited edition. The results are completely new, independent motifs with strong expressive power.
The works of pXXy PORN are creative, eye-catching, loud, bizarre and sometimes slightly disreputable. They combine God with sex and money with women. They play with dolls and paint bodies, blurring boundaries.
Gilz and Nikolic dive deep into the world of seduction and delight in the outcry of a society that moves between ubiquitous eroticism and bigoted prudery.
pXXy PORN stand for a movement that, far from any political correctness, does not allow itself to be dictated to and for which the following always applies: What is permitted is what pleases.
