until 14.04. | #1861ARTatBerlin | Galerie Berlin-Baku shows from 16th February 2018 in cooperation with ArtStudio Maria Wirth in her place the jointly organized exhibition “Surreal Gardens between Baku and Berlin” by the artists Günay Shamsi and Maria Wirth.
Embark on an inspiring journey through the “SURREAL GARDENS between Baku and Berlin”, an extraordinary presentation of paintings and objects of Günay Shamsi, Azerbaijan, and Maria Wirth, Germany, which can be seen from 17th of February until the 14th of April 2018 at the premises of ArtStudio Maria Wirth in Berlin-Charlottenburg!
In their very individual way the artists Günay Shamsi and Maria Wirth translate surrealistic design principles and motifs into a new, lively and experimental field of young post-postmodern art creation. The multi-facetted, sensitive and discursive worlds of ideas, which become visible with their artwork in this exhibition are combined into an overall aesthetic composition: a surreal garden that invites visitors to wander and think through it.
At the opening exhibition we welcome the well-known artist, composer and musician Nikolai Ivanov Om from Bulgaria, who will additionally illuminate the SURREAL GARDENS with his wonderful and very special music performance.
