The Gallery Galerie Hilaneh von Kories was opened in Hamburg in 2005 and is based on Belziger Straße in Schöneberg since August 2014. In alternating exhibitions it shows works from the classical spectrum of artistic black-and-white photography and also works of young avantgarde photographers. Among others the works of Dana Gluckstein, Ara Güler, Jim Rakete and Stephan Vanfleteren have been presented. A special aim of the gallery owner is the rediscovery or new discovery of artistic lifeworks. So, in the last years the following photographers were presented: Herbert Dombrowski, Bill Perlmutter, Wolf Suschitzky and in 2011 the first exhibition in Germany of the then totally unknown street photographer Vivian Maier.
