For the first time since 1986, live concerts will take place in the sculpture garden of the Neue Nationalgalerie: On five weekends from August 6th to September 4th 2022, music and performance acts as diverse as Älice, Wandermüd, Imran Ayata & Bülent Kullukcu with Cavidan Ünal, caner teker & Nkisi and the Deep Gold Band will perform between the sculptures by Bernhard Heiliger, Henri Laurens or René Sintenis.
The Sculpture Garden, which has been accessible again since the renovation and reopening of the Neue Nationalgalerie last year, is being revived as an evening venue for concerts: “Sound in the Garden” is the start of a new concert series that takes up the historic “Jazz in the Garden” format that took place here in the 1970s until the mid-1980s.
